8. Installation
8.3. Installation Notes for optional Accessories, for example
additional status board
There are a great variety of possibilities to combine additional accessories with the GPSeye
IN1. From the great number of the possibilities we want to show here are some examples:
1. additional status board
2. additional input-Box
3. digital/analog cable
4. temperature sensor
8.3.1. Additional Status Board
The status board function that is already built-in the GPSeye IN1 sends four different
statuses that you individually define with your driver (for example “I am in the shop”,
“with the customer”, “having a break” and so forth). These states are represented on the
GPSeye IN1 in the corresponding screen display.
If you or your driver calls a further function of the device, the stopped status still remains
active but can not be seen anymore on the screen of the GPSeye IN1.
If you however, attach importance to your driver being able to see his set status and/or
can easily change it anytime, you can connect a second additional status board to the
GPSeye IN1.
The additional status board is simply connected to the multi-polar power supply. The
installation effort is negligible. However, pay attention to the note on safety and especially
to possible stumbling-traps through the cable.
Questions about the additional status board will be answered with pleasure by the
GPSoverIP Customer-Service.
