16.20. Update and Smart-Update

16.20.1. Update

The GPS Explorer will be continuously improved. Users of the mobile services

GPSoverIP and DATAoverIP will be immediately provided with these improvements via

Update/Smart-Update. We recommend to always working with the most current version

of the program in order to use all functions completely.

With each restart, GPS Explorer checks whether an Update/Smart-Update is available

and suggest the user to save this new version on his computer. You can also deactivate

this option; however, in this case you have to take care about new versions and the

download by yourself.
If a new version is available, the following message will appear:
