7.3.3. Connection for the optional TMC Antenna
The GPSeye IN1 has already a built-in TMC-antenna. For the optimal reception of the
TMC signals and also at a bad coverage area, the fixing of an additional TMC antenna is
recommended. (A wire aerial is contained in the scope of delivery.) (Refer to 9 in ill.

7.3.4. On/Off Switch
During normal operation, press the switch (refer to 12 in ill.
on p.
) for one second for the normal activation/standby circuit of the GPSeye
IN1.
In order to completely to switch off the GPSeye IN1, press the switch and hold it for
about four seconds.
In order to wake up the GPSeye IN1 from the standby mode, press the switch for a short
moment.
Tip:
Please note that the GPSeye IN1 is in the delivery-sleep-mode when it is delivered.
For the activation of the device functions during the first use please press the On/Off
switch for 4 seconds. The same procedure is necessary if you have separated the GPSeye
IN1 from the circuit of the vehicle for a longer time.
