13.5.2 Programming extension keys
Like with the function keys the extension keys provide one-touch set up of specified function.
Nine sets of eight extensions, numbered 11-18, 21-28, 31-38, 41-48, 51-58, 61-68, 71-78, 81-88
and 91-98, are available for programming, for a total of 72 extension functions. (81 extensions
functions are available when no radar is connected. In this case replace the last 8 in each series
above with 9.)
Example: Program extension key 23 to set course-error alarm range of 0.5 nm
1. Press [MENU], [0], [4], [2] to show the Group 2 menu.
2. Press the [F3] key.

display shows 51LDDDDLLD00050EMM.
4. Press [F3], [ENT].
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
Then, pressing [2], [F3] sets the course error alarm range for 0.5 nm.
