10.2.2 Activating the DGPS receiver
1. Press [MENU], [9], [2] to display the GPS setup menu.
2. Select DGPS from the Page field at the top of the screen.
3. Set DGPS Mode to Yes.
4. Set Beacon Receiver to Int. to use built-in DGPS beacon receiver; Ext. to use external DGPS
beacon receiver.
5. The built-in DGPS beacon receiver is set at the factory for automatic beacon station
selection. If it takes more than five minutes to find position in this condition, switch to manual
following steps 6-9. Consult a DGPS reference station list for station data. For automatic
operation go to step 9.
6. Select Manu. from the Beacon Station field.
7. Select the Frequency field and enter frequency of beacon station.
8. Select the Bit Rates field and enter bit rate of beacon station.
9. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
