8. TARGET POINT MARK
The target point mark is a special mark which you can use to denote any important location. A
good example of a target point mark is a wreck. The target point mark appears on the display as
a red "X". Ten such marks may be entered.
Using a target point mark, you can set up the equipment to release audio and visual alarms when
your vessel comes within a certain distance to any target point mark. For further details see
paragraph 6.3 Target Proximity Alarm on page 6-7.
8.1 Entering a Target Point Mark
1. Press [MENU], [7] to display the Target Point menu.
