11.7.5 Restoring trails after changing range
Trails are normally canceled and restarted whenever the range is changed. However, you can
continue trails on the same range, without restarting, when the newly selected range scale is half
or double the previous range scale. Note however that when the range is changed, only those
target trails within the previous range are continued; no trails are generated for targets outside
the previous range.

1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [1] to open the Target Trail menu.

to select Trail Copy.

to select On.
4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
11.7.6 Trail thinness
Target trails may be painted in thinner trails if desired. This can be useful when there are a lot of
targets on the screen.
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [1] to open the Target Trail menu.
2. Press
[↑]
or
[↓]
to select Thin Trail.
3. Select Off or On as appropriate.
4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
11.7.7 Trail level
You may choose by strength level which targets to generate trails for.
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [1] to open the Target Trail menu.

[↑]
or
[↓]
to select Trail Level.
3. Press
[→]
to select 1, 2 or 3 as appropriate. “3” trails only targets having the strongest signal
level; 1 weak-to-strong level targets.
4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
