9. CALCULATING RANGE & BEARING
This section shows you how to measure the range and bearing between two points.
1. Press [MENU], [8] to display the Calculate Rng/Brg menu, and then follow one of the
procedures below.
Selection of points by manual input of latitude and longitude
2. Enter latitude and press the [ENT] key.
3. Enter longitude and press the [ENT] key.
4. Press the [ENT] key. The range and bearing appear at the upper part of the screen.
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
Selection of points by +cursor
2. Select the +Cursor field and press the [ENT] key.
3. Use the trackball to place the +cursor on the starting point and then press the [ENT] key.
4. Place the +cursor on the end point and press the [ENT] key. The range and bearing appear
on the display.
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
