12.15 Track Test
The track test checks the auto plotter processor for proper operation. The figure below shows the
starting picture of the simulation display. Each mark moves as time passes. Check that each
target's data is reasonable.
Do this test when the radar is not being used.
This feature is only
available with the GP/GD-380/680.

12.15.1 Starting the track test
1. At the radar, select the north-up presentation mode, and manually set the speed for 0 knots.
2. Select the 12 nm radar range.
3. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [5] to display the ARP menu and then select Page 2.

to select On.
6. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
XX appears flashing at the bottom of the display during the test. It takes about three minutes for
all vectors to be displayed completely on the screen; seven targets on various courses and
speeds are provided.
12.15.2 Stopping the track test
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [5] and then select page 2 of the menu.

to select Track Test.
3. Press
[←]
to select Off.
4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
