12. Press the [ENT] key again to record the data.
13. After recording is completed, press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
Note: If a floppy disk or memory card is not inserted at step 6, 7 or 8 an error message
appears. Do not remove medium while data is being recorded. See the error message list in
the Appendix for details.
7.2.2 Recording data to an existing file
You can write over the contents of an existing file to save new data to the medium.
1. Insert media in appropriate drive.
2. Press [MENU], [6], [1] to open the Record menu.
3. Select media to use; floppy disk or memory card.
4. Select how to record, from the Recording Area field.
5. Display Yes for items to record.
6. Select File List from the File Name field.
7. Press
[↑]
or
[↓]
to select file name and press the [ENT] key.
8. Press the [ENT] key. If you selected cursor at step 4 follow steps 10-12 in paragraph 7.2.1.
For other selections press the [ENT] key again to record.
When data cannot be recorded…
When data cannot be recorded the buzzer sounds and an error message appears. If this occurs
refer to the table below to find the cause.
