11.7.2 Selecting target trail time
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [1] to display the Target Trail.
2. Press
[←]
or
[→]
to select time desired; 15, 30 seconds; 1, 3, 6 15, 30 minutes, or
continuous.
3. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
When the target trail feature is activated, trails extend from targets. When the trail time elapses,
the timer freezes and then only the latest trails remain on the display.
For continuous trail, the timer counts up to 99:59.
11.7.3 Target trail gradation
Target trails may be shown in monotone or gradual shading. Gradual shading paints the trails
getting thinner with time just like the afterglow on an analog PPI radar.

1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [1] to display the Target Trail menu.
2. Select Mono or Multi from the Trail Shade field as appropriate field.
3. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
11.7.4 Starting, canceling target trails
1. Press the [TGT TRAIL] key. Afterglow starts extending from targets. Trail time, trail mode
and elapsed time (timer) appear at the lower-left corner on the display.

2. To remove target trails from the display, press the [TGT TRAIL] key with a touch-and-release
action. Target trails are removed from the display however they are stored in the memory,
with the target trail timer count continuing.
3. To deactivate target trials, press and hold down the [TGT TRAIL] key more than two
seconds.
Note:
Target trails are restarted whenever the zoom is activated or the range is changed.
