Setup Subsystem Parameters
This function specifies the subsystem parameters.
Subsystem parameters are the information which controls the ETERNUS DX operation when it is connected to
hosts. The ETERNUS DX operates according to the specified subsystem parameters, for all the hosts to be
connected.
Conditions for changing subsystem parameters
Changing parameters while accessing the host
OK: Parameters can be changed.
N/A: Parameters cannot be changed.
Server reboot
Required: The server must be rebooted after a parameter change.
–: The server does not require a reboot.

The procedure to set the subsystem parameters is as follows:

Click [Setup Subsystem Parameters] in [Action].

If a change to subsystem parameters is required, the recommended time is when the load is low in the
ETERNUS DX.
•
Some subsystem parameters may require rebooting of the server after changes have been made. Refer to
"Conditions for changing subsystem parameters" (page 39)
for details.
