TILT CAB
F igu re 10 shows the d iffe re n c e s between the tilt cab and
the conventional truck lu brication chart.
1. T ilt Cab O perating Controls - The operating controls
and le v e r s at the r e a r o f the cab should be lubricated
at each p ivot o r b earin g point with a sm all amount of
engine o il e v e r y 6,000 m ile s . An additional lube
fitting is p rovid ed on the hold-down catch pivot.
Th is should be lu bricated e v e ry 6,000 m ile s with
chassis lubricant.
2. T ilt Cab Body H inges - Each hinge should be lu b ri­
cated through a fittin g with chassis lube e v e ry 6,000
m iles.
3. T ilt Mechanism Check Link - E v e ry 6,000 m iles, a
sm all amount o f lubrtplate o r equivalent should be
applied to the check link and r o lle r .
