POWER STEERING HOSES
When s e rv ic in g pow er steerin g h oses, avoid tw isting
the hoses unnecessarily. In stall hoses with the wheels
in the straigh t ahead position, then turn the wheels to the
righ t and le ft, while ob servin g m ovem ent o f the hoses.
N ote and c o r r e c t any hose contact with other p arts of the
v e h ic le that could cause chafing o r w ear.
Any maintenance operation, on the p ow er steerin g
equipm ent, should include a thorough inspection of the
hydrau lic lin e system , including the o il c o o le r if used.
