GENERAL  DESCRIPTION

The  C ru ise  M a ster  is  a  speed  control  system   which 

sp eed om eter  cable  fro m   the  tran sm ission   d riv e s   the

em p loys  engine  m anifold  vacuum  to  pow er  the  th rottle 

R egu lator,  and  a  cable  fro m   the  R egu lator  d riv e s   the

S ervo  unit.  The  S ervo  m oves  the  th rottle  when  speed 

instrum ent  panel  speedom eter.  The  engagement  o f  the

adjustm ent  is   n e cessa ry   by  re c e iv in g   a  va ry in g   amount 

R egu lator  unit  is   con trolled   by  an  Engagem ent  Switch

o f  con trolled   vacuum  fro m   the  R egu lator  unit.  The
