ADDING STAFF
Before performing a Bioassay measurement, first enter staff demographic data into the
bioassay library. Select the
ADD button from the bottom of the main Bioassay Test screen.
Figure 9-8 will appear.

Use the trackball indicator or the
Tab key to move from one text box to another and enter the
requested information. Middle Initial and Date of Birth fields are optional and do not need to
be completed. You may enter any combination of up to 16 alphanumeric characters for First
and Last Names, and ID.
A comment section is available for free text input of up to 8,000 characters. Any information
entered into the comment section will appear on the printed report. The
INSERT
COMMENTS FILE button enables the user to copy a previously stored .txt file. A .txt file is
created by using Notepad from the Windows
®
accessory screen. Select Notepad by clicking
on the Notepad Icon. Type in the desired text or create a form, and save. Notepad
automatically saves files as .txt. This feature provides the user with the ability to create a
standard report form or results text and incorporate it into the Bioassay result report.
