calculated values will appear in the result view box as shown in Figure 8-32, Blood Volume
Test Library screen.
The first measurement in the counting sequence is a background measurement. After
selecting the
START PROCEDURE button, Figure 8-38 will appear.

Select
OK to proceed with the background measurement. During the counting process,
COUNTING BACKGROUND will flash in red above the spectral display. Once the
measurement has been completed, Figure 8-39 will appear and require data validation.

To accept the data, select
YES , and the data will be stored in the patient’s library file. To
reject the data and return to the previous counting prompt, select NO .
If
Cancel is selected from Figure 8-38, then Figure 8-40 will appear.
