Deleting Wipe Test History
The CAPTUS
®
2000 WIPE HISTORY will store 300 wipe tests. Upon attempting to count
wipe test number 301, a message will appear prompting you to print, archive, and delete the
history. Printing and archiving are not mandatory, but you must delete the history to perform
another wipe test. A suggested procedure is to print a comprehensive summary of all wipes
either monthly or quarterly, then delete the entire wipe test file. To delete all stored wipe test
data, select the
DELETE HISTORY button from screen displayed in Figure 7-10. The delete
history conformation screen will appear as shown in Figure 7-11.

To delete the entire history file, select the
OK button. To cancel the delete and return to the
previous screen, select the Cancel button.
To exit the Wipe Test History report screen, select the
DONE button. The software will
return to the Wipe Test Location screen as shown in Figure 7-1.
