Use the trackball indicator or the
Tab key to move from one text box to another and enter the
requested information. Patient demographic data includes Last Name, First Name, Middle
Initial, Date of Birth, ID, and Physician. Middle Initial and Date of Birth fields are optional and
do not need to be completed. You may enter any combination of up to 16 alphanumeric
characters for First and Last Names, ID, or Physician fields.
Once the patient information has been entered, the testing information must be entered
under the Dose Data column. Enter the lot number and activity of the Co57 labeled Vitamin
B-12 capsule to be given to the patient. Next enter the total volume of the urine collected
over the test period. If default counting parameters have been entered through the Setup
command, these will appear in the correct fields. To change default settings,
Tab or use the
trackball indicator to move to the desired text field, and type over the existing value. If no
default values were entered through Setup, they must be entered now.
Enter the number of repetitions required. The samples may be counted for one or two
repetitions. When two repetitions are chosen, each of the counting sequence screens
described below will appear twice. Each sample count will be labeled with the appropriate
sample name, and Count #1 or Count #2. The counts will be averaged for each sample.
Enter the Tech ID in any combination of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.
