The sewing machine can be stopped automatically
once the set number of stitches (

) have been sewn.
The sewing machine can be used to attach name labels.
• At the places marked with O, the sewing machine momentarily stops in the needle
down stop position. After turning the material, depress the treadle.
(For -90 [ ] specifications, the presser foot rises at each corner.)
• If automatic thread trimming has been set, the thread is trimmed at the sewing end.

Carry out the following settings after the thread has been
trimmed (or after the treadle has been depressed back-
ward for the 855A-A0 [ ]).
1. Press the fixed stitch/name label key

The indicator

will illuminate, and

as the current setting for the num-
ber of fixed stitch/name label stitches.
(For example,

represents 20 fixed stitches.)
