tra nsient volta ge level is belo w the ma in volta ge level, the switching will not occur until the ma in leve l is be low the va lue
of VOLT:TLEV. The IEEE488.1 command, “VTR” can also be used.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Unit: Volt
Exa mple:
“VOLT: TLEV 50” – sets the voltage trigger level to 50V
VOLT:SLEW
This command sets the volta ge slew ra te in C V mode. The progra mmed slew ra te is in effect for a ll volta ge cha nges
except INP:ON or OFF. The ha rdwa re implementa tion selects a slew ra te tha t is close to the VOLT:SLEW va lue. To
determine the a ctua l va lue, use the query VOLT:SLEW?.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Unit: V/
s
Exa mple:
“VOLT:SLEW 6”- sets the voltage slew rate to 6V/
s
VOLT:DUTY
This command sets pulse duty cycle, a s a percenta ge of the tota l cycle, of continuous tra nsient mode in C V mode. If the
Electronic Loa d is opera ting in a nother mode, the duty cycle is stored until the Loa d cha nges to continuous mode.
Pa ra meter:
2 to 98; MIN; MAX
Unit: %
Exa mple:
“VOLT:DUTY 50” – sets a 50% duty cycle for transient voltage mode.
VOLT:FREQ
This comma nd sets pulse frequency of continuous tra nsient mode in Hz. If the Electronic Loa d is opera ting in a nother
mode, the pulse frequency is stored until the Loa d cha nges to continuous mode.
Pa ra meter:
0.25 to 20000; MIN; MAX
Unit: Hz
Exa mple:
“VOLT:FREQ 1000” – sets a 1000Hz frequency for transient voltage mode.
VOLT:LIM:MAX
This command sets a nd queries the ma ximum input volta ge level tha t is to be a pplied immediately in the consta nt volta ge
mode.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Units: Volt.
Exa mple:
“VOLT:LIM:MAX 50” – sets maximum voltage input level to 50 Volts
VOLT:LIM:MIN
This command sets a nd queries the minimum input volta ge level tha t is to be a pplied immedia tely in the consta nt volta ge
mode.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Units: Volt.
Exa mple:
“VOLT:LIM:MIN 50” – sets minimum voltage input level to 50 Volts.
POW
er
Power Programming Functions
This subsystem programs the constant power mode functions of the Electronic Load. The IEEE 488.1 command, “PSET”
and “SET” (if current active mode is CP mode), can also be used.
POW
This command sets the input power level tha t is to be a pplied immedia tely in the consta nt power mode. If the Electronic
Load is not in the CP mode when the comma nd is sent, the p rogra mmed level is sa ved a nd is a pplied when the Loa d
cha nges to CP mode. The ra te of input cha nge is in a ccord with the slew ra te in effect.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Units: Wa tt.
Exa mple:
“POW 50” – sets current input level to 50Watts.
POW:PROT
:
OVER
This comma nd sets a protection limit to the input power that the Electronic Loa d will a ccept. When the input power
rea ches the progra mmed power limit for the progra mmed dela y period, the Electronic Loa d input is off.
Pa ra meter:
0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX
Units: Wa tt.
Exa mple:
“POW:PROT:OVER 12”- sets the overpower protection to 120 Watts.
POW:PROT
:
OVER:DEL
This command sets the dela y time for over-power protection. When the input power rea ches the progra mmed power lim it
for the progra mmed dela y period, the Electronic Loa d input is off.
