LOCAL CALIBRATION PROCEDURES
The eLoa d uses the two point’s ca libra tion method whereby the eLoad ha s two preset ca libra tion points for ea ch
pa rameter. The microprocessor does the ca lculation for the operating slope a nd offset in progra mming a nd rea dba ck
functions. The defa ult ca libra tion points a re low point 6400 count and high point 32000 count. These a re the defa ult bit
counts (DAC circuit) where the 6400 counts point represents a pproxima tely 10% of full sca le a nd the 32000 counts point
is a t 50% full sca le. Although these points ca n be ch a nged in the “Ca l. Pa ra m.” menu, it is not recommended.
The following is the procedure for the ca libra tion of ea ch pa ra meter.
Presses “ENTER” & “.” Keys simultaneously to enable the front panel hot keys. The ON/OFF will flash if it’s done
properly.
Presses “ENTER” & “8” keys simulta neously to enter into ca libra tion mode. Once in ca libra tion mode, the opera tor can
use “
” and “
” key to shift to the different calibration parameters.
All ca libra tion procedures should be done in the loca l sensin g mod e. Volta ge loca l sensin g is a t the input termina l. In the
following ca libra tions steps, the procedures will su ggest ce rta in power supply input, volta ge, current a nd power, but the
opera tor must ca lcula te the power consumption of eLoa d to prevent from da ma ging the unit during ca libra tion.
After ca libra tion is completed,
all new values e ntered must be saved in the eLoad’s flash memory by pressing “3”
& ENTER key simultaneously.
It will ta ke a pproxima tely 3 seconds for the eLoa d to sa ve the new ca libra tion va lues.
During this period, the LCD will display “SAVING CONFIG…”. Do not turn -off eLoad during this period.
CONSTANT VOLTAGE (CV) LOW/ MIDDLE/HIGH RANGE, MAIN LEVEL CALIBRATION
CV ma in level ca libra tion requires a power supply tha t covers the full ra nge of input volta ge of the loa d a nd is ca pa ble of
operating in CV a nd CC mode. Estimate the power consumption of the loa d, beca use power supply will go to CC mode
while ca libra ting the loa d. Adjust the CC current level to a sa fe limit for loa d.

Pressing CLEAR key will take you back to previous menu.

” until you see MAIN CV0 parameter. Then press enter:
