This comma nd sets the number of loops the stepping opera tion will repea t.
Pa ra meter: 0 to 99
Exa mple:
“UTIL:STEP:LOOP 10” - sets the number of loops to 10.
If Pa ra meter is set to 0, the loops will repea t indefinitely.
UTIL:STEP:COUNT
This comma nd sets the number of steps a ctiva ted
Pa ra meter: 1 to 99
Exa mple:
UTIL:STEP:COUNT 5” – sets the number of steps to 5.
STEP:MODE <STEP COUNT> <MODE>
This comma nd sets the step number for a specified opera ting mode.
Pa ra meter for Step count: 0 to 99
Pa ra meter for Mode: 0 (CV); 1 (CC); 2 (CR); 3 (CP)
Exa mple:
“STEP:MODE 0 1” – sets to step 0 (first step) in the Constant Current (CC) mode
Note: All steps must be set to same mode and same range.
STEP:VAL
ue <STEP COUNT> <VALUE>
This comma nd sets the step va lue for a specified step.
Pa ra meter for Step count: 0 to 99
Pa ra meter for Va lue: 0 to ma ximum va lue of opera ting mode ra nge
Exa mple:
“STEP:VAL 0 5” – sets step 0 to 5Amps(CC Mode)
STEP:TIME <STEP COUNT> <TIME>
This comma nd sets the step (dwell) time for a specified step.
Pa ra meter for Step count: 0 to 99
Pa ra meter for Time: 10ms to 600,000ms(10min)
Exa mple:
“STEP:TIME 0 1000” – sets time to 1000ms for step 0 (first step)

This comma nd sets or queries the mea surement sense (Loca l / Remote ).
Pa ra meter: 0 | 1 (0 – Loca l; 1 – Remote)
Exa mple: UTIL:MEAS:SENS 1 – sets mea surement sense to remote sense
UTIL:EOI
This comma nd sets or queries the end of string (EOS) mode for rea d ba ck.
Pa ra meter:
0 … 1 (0 – NONE; 1 – CR)
Exa mple: UTIL:EOI 1 – sets the EOS mode to CR
UTIL:TR:MODE
This comma nd sets or queries the tra nsient mode.
Pa ra meter:
0 … 3 (0 – CONTINUOUS; 1 – STEPPING; 2 – PULSE; 3 – TOGGLE)
Exa mple: UTIL:TR:MODE 0 – sets the tra nsient mode to continuous.
