STEP PARAMETERS
Selects the number of Step Count (0 - 65535 & infinity) a nd the different Step Modes (STEP, STEP AUTO, a nd STEP
ONCE)
MEASURE SENSE
This fea ture a llows selection of loca l sense or remote sense of volta ge. Remote sense a llows volta ge to be mea sured a t a
different sense point tha n the bus ba rs to prevent la rge volta ge drops over lengthy wires. If the volta ge rea ding between
the remote sense a nd bus ba r differ by grea ter tha n a set threshold, Remote Sense Fa ult (RSF) will trigger a nd shutdown
the input.
Note: The eLoad’s voltage measuring points (positive and negative) can be configured to two locations. One is from the
power input terminals called Local; the other is from the remote sense terminal block in the rear panel called Remote
(Remote option is only available in certain models). The purpose of the Re mote sense is for more accurate voltage
measurement when longer cables are used (large voltage drop caused by long cables).
MEAS. BUFFER STABLE READ BACK
For AC coupled DC input signa ls, the rea d ba ck meter ma y displa y a n unsta ble rea ding. Do not be a la rmed, the rea d ba ck
rea ding upda te ra te ca n be slowed down for a more sta ble rea ding. Only 8 or 16 mea s. buffer setting is suggested to be
selected, to ensure the correct mea surements a re upda ted properly.
PORT 0
A genera l purpose output port tha t genera tes a TTL compa tible signa l; a ctive high (5V) when port is on a nd ina ctive low
(0V) when port is turned off. The PORT 0 fea ture ca n be used to control exte rna l devices such a s a DC Conta ctor or a
rela y. To ena ble PORT 0, simply follow LOAD CONTROL
