RE-INSTALLING CALIBRATION DATA
In ca se, the ca libra tion da ta becomes corrupted by a bnorma l conditions, the Electronic Loa d ha s a built in ca pa bility for
re-insta lling the la st ca libra tion da ta without ha ving to reca libra te the loa d.
1. First you need to rea d the slope a nd offset va lues from the electronic loa d when you receive the unit, or you ca n
ca ll AMETEK Progra mmable Power Inc to get the ca libra tion informa tion for the electronic loa d (need seria l
number)
Get ca libra tion da ta procedure:
Get slope va lue:
Run command: “
SYST : SL OPE? <mode >
” to get calibration slope values where “mode” is from 0 to 39. So,
there should be 40 va lues for slope da ta .
Get offset va lue:
Run command: “
SYST:OFFS? <mode>
” to get calib ration offset values where “mode” is from 0 to 39. So,
there should be 40 va lues for offset da ta .
2. Once you obta in a ll the ca libra tion informa tion, you ca n resa ve this ca libra tion informa tion to the electronic loa d.
Resa ve ca libra tion slope da te to electronic loa d.
Run command: “ SYST: SLOPE <mode> <value>” where “mode” is from 0 to 39, and the value is the
corresponding slope va lue obta ined from 1.
Resa ve ca libra tion offset da te to electronic loa d.
Run command: “ SYST: OFFS <mode> <value>” where “mode” is from 0 to 39, and the value is the
corresponding offset va lue obta ined from 1.
After re-sa ving the ca libra tion informa tion for electronic loa d, you need test the CV a nd CC mode, a nd check if the rea ding ba ck
va lues a re within spec.
