Setting the eLoad Ethernet Parameters
You need to set the eLoa d Ethernet IP a ddress first. The eLoa d IP a ddress uniquely identifies the loa d to other
devices on the network, a nd is required for the eLoa d to communica te over the network.
1.
Ethernet Network settings: DHCP supported. The purpose of a DHCP (Dyna mic Host Configura tion Protocol)
server is to issue a n IP a ddress to a network device tha t requests a n a ddress.
2.
The IP a ddress ena bles the device to communica te with the network. This is simila r to persona l computer Plug &
Pla y concept.
The following procedure presumes tha t your eLoa d ha s the Ethernet option a nd you ha ve connected the eLoa d to
your network.
If your network supports DHCP server, do the following:
1)
Power on the eLoa d
2)
Press the LOCAL key on the front pa nel, a nd rota te the encoder
to scroll to the “SYSTEM” menu option.

Note: Because the DHCP server assigns a dynamic IP address, the value of the eLoad IP address maybe different
each time you power on the eLoad. However, if you intend to remotely control the eLoad, a static IP address is more
convenient, as the eLoad IP address does not change, making it easier for remote devices to access the eLoad
If your network does not support DHCP server
, you must enter the Ethernet settings ma nua lly which you obta ined
from your network a dministra tor.
Note: The following procedure presumes that your eLoad has the Ethernet option and you have connected the eLoad
to your network.
If your network does not support DHCP server, do the following:
1)
Power on the eLoa d
