This subsystem programs the transient functions of three tra nsient modes:

enables the function and OFF

DUTY
This comma nd sets pulse duty cycle, a s a percenta ge of the tota l cycle, of continuous transient mode. If the Electronic
Loa d is opera ting in a nother mode, the duty cycle is stored until the Loa d cha nges to continuous mode.

2 to 98; MIN; MAX

Exa mple:
“CURR:DUTY 50” – sets a 50% duty cycle for transient current mode.
FREQ
This comma nd sets pulse frequency of continuous tra nsient mode in Hz. If the Electronic Loa d is opera ting in a nother
mode, the pulse frequency is stored until the Loa d cha nges to continuous mode.

0.25 to 20000; MIN; MAX

Exa mple:
“CURR:FREQ 1000” – sets a 1000Hz frequency for transient current mode.
SLEW
This comma nd sets the power sle w ra te for the a ctive mode. The progra mmed slew ra te is in effect for a ll cha nges except
INP:ON or OFF. The ha rdwa re implementa tion selects a slew ra te tha t is closest to the SLEW va lue. To determine the
a ctua l va lue, use the query SLEW?.

0 to ma ximum va lue; MIN; MAX

Exa mple:
“SLEW 6”- sets the slew rate to 6.
TRAN:TWID
This command sets pulse width of pulse t ra nsient mode in millisecond. If the Ele ctronic Loa d is opera ting in a nother
mode, the pulse width is stored until the Loa d is powered cycle.
Pa ra meter:
0.05 to 10000
Unit: ms
Exa mple:
“TRAN:TWID 800” – sets the pulse width to 800 ms.
Query synta x:
“TRAN:TWID?”
Returned pa ra meter:
Pulse width va lue in second.
STEP
Step Programming Functions
This subsystem progra ms the stepping functions for stepping mode. The number of loops, step va lues, and dwell t imes
a re progra mmed for a specified opera ting mode.
