Before returning a product directly to AMETEK Progra mmable Powe r Inc. you must obta in a Return Ma teria l
Authoriza tion (RMA) number a nd the correct manufa ctory Ship To: address. Products must a lso be shipped prepa id.
Product shipments will be refused a nd returned at sender expen se if they a re una uthorized shipped without RMA # c lea rly
marked on the outside of the shipping box, shipped “COD”, or if they are shipped to the wrong location.
Plea se ha ve the following informa tion when conta cting AMETEK Progra mma ble Power for RMA #:
1- The model number of your product.
2- The seria l number of your product.
3- Informa tion a bout the fa ilure a nd/or rea son for the return.
4- A copy of your da ted proof of purcha se.

1- Pa cka ge the unit safely, prefera bly using the origina l box a nd pa cking ma teria ls. Plea se ensure tha t your product
is shipped fully insured in the origina l pa cka ging or equiva lent.

WHERE THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED DUE TO IMPROPER PACKAGING.

A return a ddress where the unit ca n be shipped. Post office boxes a re not a ccepta ble.
o
A conta ct person, telephone, ema il where sender ca n be rea ched during work hours.
o
A brief description of the problem.
Ship the unit prepa id to the a ddress provided by AMETEK customer service representa tive.
If you are returning a product from outside of the United States:
In addition to the a bove, you must include return freight funds if you instrument is out of wa rra nty and a re fully
responsible for a ll documents, duties, ta riff, a nd deposits.
PACKAGING FOR SHIPPING OR STORAGE
Instructions to prepa re the instrument for shipping or stora ge.
1- When returning the unit or sending it to the service center, a tta ch a ta g to the unit sta ting its model number
(a va ila ble at the front panel la bel) a nd its seria l number (a va ilable a t the rea r pa nel la bel). Give the da te of
purcha se a nd a n invoice number, if you ha ve it, a s well a s a brief description of the problem.

For stora ge or shipping, repa ck the electronic loa d in its origina l box. If the origina l box is not a va ila ble, sea l the
instrument in a pla stic ba g a nd pa ck it in a 200 lb. (90Kg) test corruga ted ca rdboa rd ca rton la rge enough a llow 3
inches (76.2mm) of cushioning materia l to surround the unit or use a materia l such a s foam slabs or chips or an
a ppropria te wooden crate used. Plea se consult with AMETEK shippin g depa rtment for proper pa cking ma teria l
a nd ha ndling.
