4 DC BIAS 5 ON/OFF condition on the fron t panel cannot b e stored in
non-v olatile memory .
When the memory card is inserted in to the MEMOR Y card slot and
the 4284A is turned on, the 4284A's Auto Load function will load the
con trol settings stored in record n um b er 10. If there are no con trol
settings stored in record n um b er 10, the p o w er-on default settings
will b e used, the same ones loaded without the memory card.
Note
The following items are stored in in ternal non v olatile memory
without using the load/store function.

OPEN, SHOR T, LO AD correction on/o
OPEN, SHOR T correction data for all test frequencies.
OPEN, SHOR T, LO AD correction data at FREQ 1, FREQ 2,
FREQ 3. (OPEN correction data at eac h frequency , SHOR T
correction data at eac h frequency , and LO AD correction
reference data and actual data at eac h frequency .)

P erform the following steps to store the con trol settings to the
in ternal non-v olatile memory or to the external memory card.
1. Select and set all con trol settings on the MEAS DISPLA Y page.
2. Mov e the cursor to the SYS MENU eld.
3. Insert a memory card in the MEMOR Y card slot, if y ou are going
to store the data to the memory card.

STORE . The message Enter record number to STORE will
b e display ed on the system message line.
5. En ter a record n um b er using the n umeric en try k eys and 4
ENTER

to store the curren t con trol settings. Then when the record is
stored in the in ternal EEPR OM, the record n um b er can b e set
from 0 to 9. When the record is stored in the memory card, record
n um b ers from 10 to 19 can b e set used.
P erform the following steps to load the con trol settings from the
in ternal non-v olatile memory or from an external memory card.
1. Mov e the cursor to the SYS MENU eld.
2. Insert the memory card in to the MEMOR Y card slot, if y ou are
going to use a memory card.
