Note
When
the
data
buer
memory
is
used,
use
the
following
rules.
The
measuremen
t
data
after
sending
the
MEMory:FILL
DBUF
command
to
use
the
data
buer
memory
capabilities
are
stored
in
to
the
data
buer
memory
in
the
order
measured.
When
triggering
the
4284A
using
the
TRIGger:IMMediate
command,
the
measuremen
t
results
are
en
tered
only
in
to
the
data
buer
memory
.
So
y
ou
don't
ha
v
e
to
clear
the
output
buer.
When
triggering
using
the
*TRG
or
Group
Execution
Trigger
( GET )
command,
the
measuremen
t
results
are
en
tered
in
to
b oth
the
data
buer
memory
and
the
output
buer.
So
the
output
buer
m
ust
b e
cleared
ev
ery
time
the
4284A's
con
troller
reads
the
measuremen
t
results.
If
y
ou
don't,
error
( 0410,
"Query
INTERRUPTED" )
will
o ccur.
When
the
n
um
b er
of
sets
of
measuremen
t
data
exceeds
the
capacity
of
the
buer
memory
,
all
of
the
o
v
ero
w
ed
measuremen
t
data
are
lost,
error
90:
"Data
Memory
Overflow"
o ccurs,
and
bit
3
of
the
standard
ev
en
t
status
register
is
set
to
1.
If
y
ou
en
ter
new
data
in
to
the
data
buer
memory
,
the
data
buer
memory
should
rst
b e
cleared
using
the
MEMory:CLEar
DBUF
command.
When
the
n
um
b er
of
sets
of
measuremen
t
data
is
less
than
the
capacity
of
the
buer
memory
,
the
follo wing
data,
instead
of
the
actual
measuremen
t
data,
are
input
to
the
un
used
p ortion
of
the
data
buer
memory
.
