for
the
user,
and

on
the
4284A's
status.
There
are
t

categories
of
system
messages,

arning
messages
and
instruction
messages.

arning
Messages
The
4284A
displays
w
arning
messages
on
the
System
Message
Line
when
an
inappropriate
op eration
is
attempted,
or
when
the
setting
is
c
hanged
automatically
due
to
an
inappropriate
op eration.
The
w
arning
op eration
should
not
set
an
error
bit.
The
following
list
