Note:
rotation can also be checked at the exhaust by making sure gas
is being forced out at the exhaust nipple.
As soon as the installation and start-up procedure is complete, and the
direction of rotation is checked (sheets
B 10 to B 51
):
– set the CMD.ROOTS on DISABLED (see
C 43
),
– connect the pump to the pumping line (see
B 60
), and
– if the pump has to be remote controlled, proceed to specific wiring
instructions (
B 70
).
In order to prevent foreign bodies from entering the pump, while waiting to
be installed, replace blank-off flanges on inlet and exhaust ports again.
When the pump is switched off, internal parts (monitoring, frequency
converter) contain capacitors charged with over 60 VDC and remain
energized.
Electrical shock may result in severe injury.
Wait 1 minute after switching off before opening the pump.
