Figure 220:
Functional module diagram for counting circuit breaker operations
Operation counter
The operation counter counts the number of operations based on the state change of
the binary auxiliary contacts inputs
POSCLOSE
and
POSOPEN
.
The number of operations
NO_OPR
is available through the Monitored data view on
the LHMI or through tools via communications. The old circuit breaker operation
counter value can be taken into use by writing the value to the
CountInitVal
parameter
and can be reset by
Clear CB wear
in the clear menu from LHMI.
Alarm limit check
The
OPRALM
operation alarm is generated when the number of operations exceeds the
value set with the
OpNumAlm
threshold setting. However, if the number of operations
increases further and exceeds the limit value set with the
OpNumLO
setting, the
OPRLOALM
output is activated.
The binary outputs
OPRLOALM
and
OPRALM
are deactivated when the
BLOCK
input
is activated.
14.17.7.5
Accumulation of I
y
t
Accumulation of the I
y
t module calculates the accumulated energy.
The operation of the module can be described by using a module diagram. All the
modules in the diagram are explained in the next sections.
