3.2.13 Stages
3.2.13.1 Rackless Mechanical Stage, 75x50 R
Purpose
Mechanical stages are used for fixing and positioning the sample for examination.
Position
The mechanical stages are mounted on the stage carrier of the stand.
Function
The sample is fixed on the stage by means of the sample holder. For this purpose, the sample
holder is equipped with a spring lever.
The sample is positioned in the beam path by means of the two coaxial drives in X and Y direc-
tion. The adjustment range can be read off the respective vernier scale.
