4. Place the sample on the stage.
5. Focus the sample.
6. Turn the mechanical stage so the structure of interest is visible with maximum contrast.
7. Use the knurled screw

on the DIC slider to adjust the optimal contrast.

Procedure
1. Swivel the C-DIC module on the reflector turret
into the beam path.
2. Swivel the DIC compatible objective into the
beam path.
