PREPARATION

This section contains information regarding the pre-operation preparations, power ON/OFF proce­

dures and EMERGENCY STOP and Restart procedures.

&

5.1 

Pre-Operation  Preparation

5.1.1 

Pre-Operation  Confirmation  Items

Before the power source is turned ON, confirm the following items.

-  Make sure that maintenance and inspection ofsafcly-related equipment is 

performed periodically according to  Section 2.6 “Inspection of Safety Related 

Equipment Operability” .

-  Make sure that there is no water, oil, or garbage on the floor.

Clean the floor if it is stained with water and/or oil or littered with garbage.

-  Make sure that there is nothing forgotten in the area o f any parts that can move 

(especially in and around the mold die).  In particular, make sure that no tools, 

bolts, nuts or washers have been left after maintenance  and inspection.

A  CAUTION

-  Even one small wrench, one small spanner, or one screw can lead to

 

machine malfunction and damage if caught in moving or rotating

 

machinery.

-  Make sure that air pressure supply to the machine is carried out

 

according to the prescribed pressure.

Air pressure:  0.45~0.6 MPa (4.4~5.9 kgflcrn2)

-  Make sure that the air and the power sources are supplied to the

 

machine.  Please refer to 3.2.1  “Madhme Specifications”.
