2  SAFETY

2.9 

Exhaust Gas and  Dust

Use o f a resin mold produces gas and dust that can cause bodily harm.  Obtain the tablet supply 

manufacturer's safety data-sheet (MSDS) regarding chemical materials, etc., and be sure to 

follow properly the instructions  detailed therein.

In particular, the following warnings should be given sufficient attention.

WARNING

When  inserting tablets, follow the instructions detailed in the tablet

 

supply manufacturer's safety data-sheet (MSDS) regarding chemical

 

materials, etc., and be sure to wear protective eyewear, a protective

 

dust mask and gloves.

Fine particles and dust from tablets may be harmful to ones health.

Before starting operation,  be sure to activate the factory's ventilation

 

system, in concurrence with the instructions detailed in the tablet

 

supply manufacturer's safety data-sheet (MSDS) regarding chemical

 

materials, etc.

Do not run operations on the machine when the factory's ventilation

 

system is stopped or out of order.

Gases emitted during melting  of tablets  may be harmful to ones

 

health.

Due to high temperature of the upper part of the mold, please be sure

 

that only non-f ammable resins are inserted. Insertion of substances

 

other than non-f ammable resins may cause gas emissions and/or

 

f re.

For the purposes of safety, be sure to handle the dust from epoxy

 

resin with suff cient care.
