MANUAL OPERATION

7.4 

Mold  Die  Replacement

“Mold Replacement” is used when replacing the mold die with the Press moved out to its 

removal position.

WARNING

In order to prevent malfunction- or faulty operation-related accidents

 

from occurring during.cleaning and maintenance of the Press

 

interior and surrounding area,  make sure that all work is carried out

 

with the Press power and air supply sources off.

During mold replacement or maintenance work,  be sure to wear

 

protective footwear whenever handlincf heavy objects.

When removing the die holders, in  order to prevent falling-related

 

accidents, put on brakes or buffer stops to ensure that the body of

 

the lifter does not move.

When carrying out maintenance and cleaning of the mold die when  it

 

is very hot, or when carrying out maintenance on the heater, as

 

there is danger of getting burned, be sure to wear protective gear.

As tearing cable housing is dangerous and may lead to power

 

failure,  do not damage the heater cable.

In order to prevent fire, when  removing the mold die from the

 

machine, please be sure that the heater power has been turned off

 

first.

Heat generating parts become extremely hot. Be sufficiently careful

 

of the following points when  removing the mold die.

(1)Do not put it down  near flammable objects.

(2) Make sure that the ON timer is not 

’  ■

(3)Do not touch directly by hand  until Д -has cooled down

 

sufficiently.
