6.3 Automatic Operation
6.3.1 Outline of Automatic Operation
This machine comprises two operation processes, enabling two types o f automatic
operations described below.
- PROCESS AUTO operation:
<s ’ ’ Executes automatic operation o f each process singly.
- LINE AUTO operation (Semi-Automatic):
Executes each process.continuously.
Operations are enable'd with the switches on the AUTO OPERATION screen, and on
the machine.
(Refer to the section “INTELLIGENT SYSTEM” o f the maintenance manual.)
Each operation process is as follows:
• FRAME LOADING process
- The film feeder feeds two substrates from the IN magazine to the frame loader
by layer.
- The frame handling pre-heats two frames and transfers them to the specified
Press Module.
- The frame handling completes its operation when it comes back to the
standby position.
• RESIN LOADING process
- The resin handling loads liquid resin into arapecified Press Module.

- The resin handling dispenses resin according to the specified pattern.
• LOADING process • — s.rf
- FRAME LOADING and RESIN LOADING processes are operated with one
cycle.
- After completion o f resin loading operation, the Press Module executes a
molding operation. After completion o f molding operation, the Press Module
returns to the origin, and automatic operation ends.
• UNLOADING process
- The frame unloader take two molded products out from the Press Module.
- Products are stored from the OUT pusher to the OUT magazine by layer.
- After completion o f storing two products, an automatic operation ends.
