2.2 General Safety Rules for Lifting
The following are general rules o f safety for safe lifting o f the machine.
Be sure to observe and fully understand these safely rules.
NOTE It is assumed in this installation manual that lifting of the
machine is done by using belts or wire ropes (referred to
hereinafter as wires).
(1) Precadtions before lifting 5 . >
- U se tools and lifting equipm ent w hich are appropriateTo the load.
N ever use lifting equipment or tools whose rated w ithstand'iead is insufficient.
Refer to section- ‘3.2 M achine Dimensions and Weight” for the w eight and dimensions
o f the machine.
- U se belts or wires o f sufficient length fo r the size o f the burden.
- All w ire ropes m ust be inpected before using. Verify carefully that there are no kink,
knot, crush, strand rupture, and corrosion.

Consult a specialist (e.g., the belts or wire rope supplier) w hen there is any doubt.
- M ake sure there is sufficient space for lifting.
- Separate all connections (such as hoses, cables, etc.), and remove any oil, tools or parts
that m ay have been left on the burden.
- Thoroughly check that the eye bolts and shackles are tightened securely.
