9 INSPECTION LCM 1010 Instruction Manual
9.2.4 Inspection, Adjustment and Replacement of Timing Belts
(Automatic)
The following types o f timing belts are used in this machine.
- Press Clamp: ^Standard value 1750N (Tolerance value 1663~1838N)
- Resin Handler Unit (Left/Right):
Standard value 350N (Tolerance value 333-368N)
- Resin Handler Unit (Forward/Backward):
b Standard value-55N (Tolerance value 52-58N )
- Dispenser (Swing): Standard value 55N (Tolerance value 52-58N )
- In Slit Magazine elevator unit (Up/Down):
Standard value 40N (Tolerance value 38-42N )
- Frame Feeder Unit (Forward/Backward):
Standard value 40N (Tolerance value 38~42N)
- Frame Loader Unit (Forward/Backward):
Standard value 40N (Tolerance value 38-42N )
- Frame Unloader Unit (Forward/Backward):
Standard value 40N (Tolerance value 38~42N)
- Frame Loader/Frame Unloader Unit (Left/Right):
Standard value 350N (Tolerance value 333~368N)
- Out Slit Magazine elevator unit (Up/Down)
Standard value 40N (Tolerance value 38-42N )
(1) Inspection and Adjustment o f Timing Belts
Carry out the inspection o f the timing belts according to the following items.
- Breaking off and/or wearing down o f the belt c o f i
- Tearing and/or fatigue o f belts •
- Looseness o f belts (tension deterioration) —
- Cog-skipping during operation ,
(2) Adjustment o f Timing Belt Tension
When tension deterioration is confirmed by the inspection results in (1),
adjust the timing belt tension by loosening the fixing bolt o f the tension roll
bracket.
(3) Replacement o f the Timing Belts
When breaking off and/or wearing down o f the belt cogs and/or tearing and/or
fatigue o f belts are detected confirmed by the inspection results in (1), replace
the timing belts immediately. Furthermore, be sure to replace the timing belt
used by the Hold Frame Clamp once every four years.
