Configure a Static Route
The BlackPearl system only supports communication with one default gateway. When
configuring a BlackPearl system with multiple data connections, each connection
communicates via the gateway entered when the connection was configured. The gateway
entered for the last configured connection sets the default gateway for the BlackPearl
system.
When configuring a system with multiple data connections, if each data connection only
communicates with its own network, a static route is not required. When an additional
network or external network is only available from one, but not all, of the data connections
configured on the BlackPearl system, a static route is required in order for the system to
communicate to the additional network.
