Component

Description

Fans

Five hot-swappable fans provide the cooling for the 96-bay expansion node.

Power supplies

The 96-bay expansion node includes two power supplies to provide N+1
redundancy and fail-over protection.

• Each power supply has its own AC power connector.
• Each power supply has a single LED that lights to indicate when the power

is on and functioning normally.

SAS connectors

The rear panel of the 96-bay expansion node has two SAS ports used to
connect an expansion node to a BlackPearl system.
