Ensure that the

from damage. If necessary, replace the
fl
ywheel
housing.

Install a new oil seal (8) to
fl
ywheel housing (1).
Note:
Press the oil seal into the
fl
ywheel housing
from the rear. Ensure that the front edge of the oil seal
is
fl
ush with the joint face of the
fl
ywheel housing .
3.
Inspect crankshaft rear seal (9) for leaks. If there
are any oil leaks, replace the crankshaft rear seal.

Rear Seal - Remove” and refer to Disassembly
and Assembly, “Crankshaft Rear Seal - Install”.
