1.
Lubricate a new O-ring seal (4) with clean engine
oil. Install the new O-ring seal onto engine oil
pressure sensor (3).
2.
Use a deep socket to install engine oil pressure
sensor (3) to the cylinder block. Tighten the engine
oil pressure sensor to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in).
3.
Connect harness assembly (2) to engine oil
pressure sensor (3).
4.
Slide locking tab (1) into the locked position.
5.
If necessary,
fi
ll the engine oil pan to the correct
level that is indicated on the engine oil level
gauge. Refer to Operation and Maintenance
Manual, “Engine Oil Level - Check”.

re hazard. Failure to fol-
low these inspection, maintenance and service in-
structions may cause personal injury or death.
NOTICE
Ensure that all adjustments and repairs that are
carried out to the fuel system are performed by
authorised personnel that have the correct train-
ing.
Before begining ANY work on the fuel system, re-
fer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Gen-
eral Hazard Information and High Pressure Fuel
Lines” for safety information.
Refer to System Operation, Testing and Adjusting,
“Cleanliness of Fuel System Components” for de-
tailed information on the standards of cleanliness
that must be observed during ALL work on the fu-
el system.

If the engine is equipped with a cover over the fuel
system this will need to be removed.

Slide locking tab (1) into the unlocked position.
3.
Disconnect harness assembly (2) from fuel
pressure sensor (3).
4.
Place a suitable container below fuel pressure
sensor (3) in order to catch any fuel that might
be spilled.
