3.3.3 Selecting CW/CCW Using REMOTE Function

When the REMOTE function is used, CW/CCW can be selected using an external sequence.

Change the switch of the torque detector according to the rotational direction.

Operating Procedure

(1)

Press the [MENU] key.

(2)

Select (DETECTOR SET) and then press the [ENTER] key.

(3)

Select (TORQUE) using the

and

keys and then press the [ENTER] key.

The following screen appears.

(4)

Select (ROTATION) using the

and

keys and then press the [ENTER] key.

(5)

Select 0:EXT using the

and

keys and then press the [ENTER] key.

(6)

Connect signal between pins C and D of the REMOTE connector.

CW:

Opens between C and D.

CCW:

Short-circuit between C and D.

Refer to 4.1, "Using REMOTE Function" for details on the REMOTE function.
