Using Serial Port I/O Instructions
Perform system settings by using Sysmac Studio.
Use the SerialSend, SerialRcv, or SerialRcvNoClear instruction. Programming examples are provided
below.
Send the no-protocol command to the OMRON bar code reader V500-R521C2 connected to serial port
2 of the Serial Communications Unit (unit number 0, device name 'Barcode'). The command sent is the
scene number acquisition command '@READ.'
The send data is the content of the array variable SendDat[]. There is no start code and the end code is
16#OD (CR).
