3 Installation and Wiring

CJ-series Serial Communications Units Operation Manual for NJ-series CPU Unit(W494)

3-3-4 Solder

ing

Remove the specified length of the sheath from the cable by using a knife. Be careful not to

scratch the braided shield.

Trim off all the braided shield by using scissors.

Remove the insulation from each conductor by using a stripper so that the exposed conductor

length is 5 mm.

Wrap adhesive tape around the conductor from which the braided shield was removed.

Place heat-shrinking tubes over all wires.

Temporarily solder each conductor to the corresponding connector terminals.

Completely solder each conductor.
