CJ-series Serial Communications Units Operation Manual for NJ-series CPU Unit(W494)
Use the device variable for CJ-series Unit for Software Switches shown below to set the Serial Gate-
way to the Not prohibited status.
The Not prohibited/Prohibited status for the Serial Gateway can be checked by the following flag.
You can use the SendCmd (command send) instruction on the CPU Unit user program to send mes-
sages.
Example: Send a CompoWay/F message to a CompoWay/F-compatible OMRON component con-
nected to the Serial Communications Unit via a serial network.
For details on the SendCmd instruction, refer to the NJ-series Instructions Reference Manual (Cat. No.
W502).
