CJ-series Serial Communications Units Operation Manual for NJ-series CPU Unit(W494)

Connect the signal lines and shield to the terminal block on the RS-422A/485. Press each line

all the way to the back of its hole as shown below. When you insert wires without ferrules, hold
down the orange knob with a small flat-blade screw driver or similar object.

Connect the connector with the communications cable attached to it to the connector on the

Unit. Then tighten the screws to secure the connector to the Unit. 
Recommended tightening torque: 0.2 to 0.3 N
